Hi! My name is Emma. Here's a bit about me. I love to write and read in my spare time. I have written 1 26-page story and 4 4-page stories and I'm constantly working on new ones. How many books I've read in the meanwhile are not even able to compare. I'm a girl who lives in the state where the only cool things are corn, soybeans, and a 60 ft. tall monument of president's faces.  Blogging is my way of sharing opinions and thoughts with the world. Does social media tend to isolate people?

While I think that social media is great, it can have some damaging effects. To me, it just seems too constricting to the actual art of conversation and takes up so much of your time. This being said, I have friends who actually have every single form of social media. The big question that adults ask themselves and wonder about their teens: does social media isolate them? In The American Journal of Preventive Medicine, it said that people who spend up to 2 hours a day on social media had twice the odds of perceived social isolation than those who spent less than half an hour a day. The best music comes in the 'After Hours'

I've been a fan of The Weeknd since he dropped the blazing song "Can't Feel My Face" back in 2015. However, my obsession reached an all-time peak in November last year when he announced to the public that he was dropping a new single for an album that would arrive early next year. I overloaded my phone and brain with his addictive songs that spin webs of cleverly crafted lyrics and mesmerizing beats. Book Review: The Five People you meet in Heaven/The Next Person you meet in Heaven

*Minor spoilers will be revealed; this is your warning* After I had finished reading Tuesdays with Morrie, I was obsessed with Mitch Albom and I wanted to read more of his books. (Link to that review at the bottom of this post). Mitch Albom knew how to make a good story feel personable and lively. When I was wandering through Target, I found out that he had released two fictional stories and that the sequel The Next Person you meet in Heaven,  had just came out the previous year. I had loved the story that had made him famous in the first place, so I had to buy the fictional novels that he had written. The Five People you meet in Heaven is about a war veteran named Eddie who lives a mundane life, working at a carnival. When a ride breaks down, he saves a little girl, sacrificing his own life.
